The Largest Green Hydrogen and Synthetic Ammonia Project in China

Recently, the DaˇŻan Demonstration Project of Integrated Green Hydrogen Production from Wind and Solar Energy and Synthetic Ammonia Production has attracted much attention. As the largest integrated green hydrogen and synthetic ammonia project in China, after it is completed and put into operation, it can produce 32,000 tons of green hydrogen and 180,000 tons of green ammonia annually, reducing carbon emissions by approximately 650,000 tons. This will accelerate the transformation of the energy structure and promote green and low-carbon development.

The DaˇŻan project is an important innovative practice in the field of hydrogen energy in China. At present, for the rectifier devices used in large-scale electrolyzed water hydrogen production with a capacity of 1000 m³/h, mainstream design schemes such as the multi-pulse three-phase bridge thyristor rectifier system are mostly adopted. This system can meet the parameter requirements of various electrolyzers. It is mature, reliable, and has a low investment cost. It also occupies a small area and is suitable for the application scenarios of new energy hydrogen production from unstable power sources such as photovoltaic and wind power.
