Recently, the Anyue 100MW/200MWh new energy storage demonstration project invested and constructed by Sichuan Chuantou New Energy Co., Ltd. officially broke ground. This project is the first landmark project of Sichuan Chuantou Group in the field of centralized energy storage, and it is also one of the first batch of new energy storage demonstration projects in Sichuan Province.

The project is located in Anyue County, Ziyang City, Sichuan Province, with a total investment of approximately 220 million yuan. It is planned to be officially completed and connected to the grid on May 30, 2025. After the project is officially connected to the grid and put into operation, the average annual power discharge is expected to be 35,270 MWh. It will significantly enhance the peak regulation, frequency modulation, and emergency response capabilities of the power grid in Anyue County, and provide strong support for optimizing the power source structure of the regional power grid, improving the power supply quality, and ensuring the safe and stable operation of the power grid.

The commencement of this energy storage demonstration project marks that Sichuan Chuantou New Energy has taken a substantial step in accelerating the layout of the new energy storage track and assisting Sichuan Province in building a new energy system.
