From March 20th to 28th, Zhang Wenlei, President of the CCAIA, joined a delegation organized by the CPCIF to inspect petrochemical companies in the United States and South Korea and attended the World Petrochemical Congress. The delegation team visited Baker Hughes, Topsoe, KBR, ASPENTECH and Cabot among other companies in the United States, inspected the terminal facilities of Satellite Petrochemical Company in Houston, participated in the 2024 World Petrochemical Congress and inspected SK Zhixin Company and the Korea Chemical Industry Association. During these visits, they exchanged information on the development and trends of the petrochemical industry in various countries, and had in-depth discussions on key issues such as the adjustment of global production capacity pattern, green low-carbon sustainable development, and the all-round empowerment of the petrochemical industry ecology by artificial intelligence. All efforts were made to enhance mutual understanding and cooperation.
