On March 20th, the Water Conservation Promotion Center of the Ministry of Water Resources commissioned the CCAIA to organize an expert seminar on the mandatory national standard "Industrial Water Use Quota in the Yellow River Basin Part 9: Caustic Soda" through video online. Director Hou Kun of the Promotion Center attended the meeting and introduced the background and significance of standard preparation. The meeting was attended by leaders and experts from Qingdao Haiwan, Befar Group, Henan Lianchuang, Henan Shenma, Shaanxi Beiyuan, Shaanxi Jintai, Inner Mongolia Junzheng, Inner Mongolia Yihua, Shanxi Ruiheng, Jinchuan Group, Qinghai Yihua, and Ningxia Jinyuyuan. While the meeting was chaired by Zhang Shoute, Vice Secretary General of the CCAIA, Vice President Zhang Xin attended the meeting. The meeting thoroughly discussed the initial draft of the standard, and put forward opinions and suggestions on key content such as the water accounting boundary and accounting method for caustic soda producers, the value of water quota, the input and output water volume of the production boundary, etc. After the meeting, the drafting unit will further revise and improve the initial draft of the standard.
