2025-7-2
In the Lisheng Rubber Industrial Park of Thailand, the construction site of the first phase of China Pingmei Shenma Group¡äs 20,000-ton/year Thailand Nylon 66 differentiated fiber project is bustling. Workers are orderly carrying out preparations for equipment installation. At present, the main structure of the spinning workshop of the project has been successfully capped. It is expected to complete mechanical completion in August and be ready for feeding and commissioning in September.
Since the project commenced construction in September 2024, the project team has overcome multiple challenges such as high mobility of construction personnel and continuous high-temperature rainfall. It only took 7 months to achieve the capping of the main plant, creating the "Pingmei Shenma speed" in overseas construction. It is reported that the first phase of the project is designed with an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons of nylon 66 industrial yarn, adopting the 4-head high-speed spinning technology independently developed by Pingmei Shenma Group with complete intellectual property rights.
As a leading enterprise in China¡äs nylon 66 industry, China Pingmei Shenma Group currently has an annual production capacity of 160,000 tons of nylon 66 industrial yarn and 70,000 tons of dipped cord fabric. Its products are widely used by global renowned tire brands, with a market network covering more than 60 countries worldwide.
The establishment of the Thailand plant represents a key practice by the Group to respond to the national "Belt and Road" Initiative and deepen international production capacity cooperation. It is also the first overseas physical project under the ¡°Going Global" strategy. The initiative aims to leverage Thailand¡äs superior geographical location and stable trade environment to get closer to the Southeast Asian market, reduce sales costs, and optimize the global supply chain layout.
"When the second phase of the project is completed, the total production capacity will reach 20,000 tons, further consolidating the Group¡äs competitiveness in the global nylon industry chain," according to an official from China Pingmei Shenma Group. In the future, taking the Thailand production base as a starting point, the Group will continue to expand its overseas presence, promoting the comprehensive upgrade of the nylon industry from "product going global" to "production capacity going global" and "brand going global", laying a solid foundation for building a world-class enterprise.
