Lianhong Gerun¡äs 10-Billion-Yuan Integrated Project Completes Mechanical Completion

On September 26, the integrated project of Lianhong Gerun New Energy Materials and Biodegradable Materials achieved overall mechanical completion in Tengzhou, Zaozhuang. It is expected that the entire process of the project will be connected and full-scale production will be realized by the end of this year.
As a major project in Shandong Province, the Lianhong Gerun Integrated Project has a total investment of 12.5 billion yuan and covers an area of approximately 1,700 mu. Its main construction contents include production units such as a 1.3 million ton/year methanol-to-olefins (DMTO) unit, a 200,000 ton/year ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) unit, a 300,000 ton/year propylene oxide (PO) unit, a 50,000 ton/year polypropylene carbonate (PPC) unit, and a 240,000 ton/year polyether polyol (PPG) unit, as well as relevant supporting facilities. Site leveling for the project started in February 2023, and full-scale civil construction commenced in April 2024. During the peak period, the number of on-site workers exceeded 12,000. This overall mechanical completion has set a new record for the construction speed of similar projects.
It is understood that by the end of 2025, all projects planned in the 2.0 phase of Lianhong¡äs strategy will be implemented. The business segments of new energy materials, biological materials, electronic materials, and special materials will be more distinct, the product categories will be more abundant, and the scale will reach a new level.
